How It Works
Each patient must attend an Ideal Protein seminar. These occur every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. Our group zooms are free last about 30 minutes and give a broad overview of the program and what to expect. It's important that patients are on board with the process before choosing to start our program. At the end of the seminar, there's an opportunity for group Q&A. Alternatively, we have the option for a 1 on 1 seminar. A small fee applies for individual consults.
If you decide you're ready to start protocol, you will fill out our health profile and pay a $75 consult fee. Once your health profile has been reviewed by our pharmacist and approved by your doctor, it's time to attend a Food Class and pickup your scale. Jessica will work directly with you to schedule a time for your food class. At that time, you'll learn all the rules of protocol and your starting measurements will be recorded. You'll pick up your starter bag that includes your first week of food plus your first month of vitamins, and you'll be ready to get going.
It's time to start! You'll set a designated date weekly for a progress check in with your coach. At this time, you'll go over previously submitted food journals and talk about your progress. You'll submit your weekly food order via the Ideal Protein app and can pick up your Ideal Protein food at the pharmacy. You will also be invited to participate in a private Facebook group where our community can come together. Announcements will be posted in this group and all members are encouraged to post about any and everything.
Let Us Introduce Ourselves
meet Our Team
Meet our wellness coaches, Jessica Robinson and Kyle Lomax!
Jessica has been with Southern Pharmacy since 2019 and hit the ground running the moment she started. Prior to being with us, she worked as an Ideal Protein coach at Heart Clinic Arkansas in Little Rock. Jessica knows the program up close and personal, losing 87 pounds on protocol herself. She is able to relate to patients because she’s been overweight and personally overcome those challenges.
Kyle Lomax, Pharm D is the owner of Southern Pharmacy. Originally from the small town of Monette, Arkansas, Kyle and his wife Kass both received their Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at UAMS in Little Rock before returning home to Northeast Arkansas. Kyle and his team have a laser focus on helping create pathways to wellness for patients – through medicine, diet and supplements.
At Southern Pharmacy, we believe prevention of disease is just as important as treatment. Our goal is to aid our patients and their prescribers in helping find solutions that stop disease at the source. While we are thankful medicine has advanced substantially and can provide patients with relief from chronic illness, we know there are some instances that lifestyle, diet, exercise and supplements can be just as powerful.
