How It Works
Each patient must attend a 15 minute free one-on-one assessment with an official Southern Health & Wellness coach. You can select your coach or one will be selected for you. Appointments are booked online and sessions are held via Zoom. Availability varies by coaches. During this assessment, your coach will go over the basics of the Southern Health & Wellness protocol, discuss any relevant medical history and make sure it's a good fit for you on your journey. If you choose to sign up, you will go to Step 2. If you decide it's not the right time for you, that's okay! We hope you'll visit us again when you're ready.
If you decide you're ready to start protocol, you will fill out our health profile and get started! Once your health profile has been reviewed by our pharmacist and approved by your doctor, it's time to watch our Southern Health & Wellness Food Class. You'll learn the ins and outs of the protocol and receive a sheet to go along with that for guidance. You will learn how to place your food orders, then you'll order your starter bag. We will get your starter bag, Bluetooth scale and measuring tape ready for you. You will need all these items in your possession before you can officially begin.
It's time to start! You'll set a designated date weekly for a progress check in with your coach. During your weekly appointment, you'll go over previously submitted food journals and talk about your weight and measurement progress. You will also be invited to participate in a private Facebook group where our community can come together. Announcements will be posted in this group and all members are encouraged to post about anything relating to Southern Health & Wellness.
Let Us Introduce Ourselves
meet Our Team
Meet our wellness coaches, Jessica Robinson and Kyle Lomax!
Jessica has been with Southern Pharmacy since 2019 and hit the ground running the moment she started. Prior to being with us, she worked as an Southern Health & Wellness coach at Heart Clinic Arkansas in Little Rock. Jessica knows the program up close and personal, losing 87 pounds on protocol herself. She is able to relate to patients because she’s been overweight and personally overcome those challenges.
Kyle Lomax, Pharm D is the owner of Southern Pharmacy. Originally from the small town of Monette, Arkansas, Kyle and his wife Kass both received their Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at UAMS in Little Rock before returning home to Northeast Arkansas. Kyle and his team have a laser focus on helping create pathways to wellness for patients – through medicine, diet and supplements.
At Southern Pharmacy, we believe prevention of disease is just as important as treatment. Our goal is to aid our patients and their prescribers in helping find solutions that stop disease at the source. While we are thankful medicine has advanced substantially and can provide patients with relief from chronic illness, we know there are some instances that lifestyle, diet, exercise and supplements can be just as powerful.
